Frequently Asked Questions

Should I personalize my space?

It's optional, but we encourage it. Displaying your logo will help you make your Coaching Hub uniquely yours—the place where you work on your business with your Coach, store and share your work and access your meetings and program materials. And, personalizing your space will give you a visual cue to help you quickly find your way to your Coaching Hub whenever you log in to EMyth Connect. 

You can email a 500px by 500px image (.png, .gif or .jpg) of your logo or a picture to your Coach, and we'll upload it to your Coaching Hub. It'll show up at the top of your Hub page and in the margin of the left-hand navigation.

Is EMyth Connect a required part of my EMyth Coaching Program?

Yes, EMyth Connect is the way you'll access your Coaching Program materials and worksheets and how you'll share your work and exchange questions, comments and feedback with your Coach between meetings. You aren't required to participate in the community features of EMyth Connect, like Connect Central, the self-directed courses or the discussions and events. We hope you'll want to join in, because it will enhance your experience in the EMyth Coaching Program through exchanges with other business owners, coaches and leaders at EMyth. We know it may not be for everyone, so you're free to make your own choice.

Can my business have more than one log-in to the Coaching Hub and EMyth Connect?

Yes. If there are partners in your business, each of you will have your own EMyth Connect log-in and all of you will be members in your Coaching Hub. Just be aware that everyone with a log-in who's a member of your Coaching Hub will be able to see everything you share. 

Is the information I share in EMyth Connect secure and confidential?

Your EMyth Coaching Program Agreement promises that the information you share with your Coach is held in strictest confidence. That holds true for conversations you have in meetings and for anything you write about or upload inside your Coaching Hub. That's why no one will have access to the work and information you share in your Coaching Hub unless you ask us to give someone else a log-in and access to your Hub. 

Outside your Coaching Hub, in the open community spaces like Connect Central, the events and the self-paced courses, the principles governing confidentiality are a little different. EMyth will never share or sell your information to third parties. And, be aware that what you choose to share outside your Coaching Hub becomes part of the community. It's good practice to share only what you wouldn't mind becoming public. It's similar to what you'd choose to share in a social network or in a YouTube comment. A lot of people are going to see what you have to say and that's worth considering.

How will I know when my Coach has shared a document with me?

At the end of every coaching meeting, your Coach will introduce the work you'll be doing to prepare for your next meeting. When you're ready to move on to each new system topic, they'll make the process guide and worksheets visible and you'll be able to access them in the Roadmap tab at the top of  your Coaching Hub. 

From time to time your Coach may share feedback and comments, files or documents with you by sending you a Chat message in your Coaching Hub. You can choose to be notified by email or in the app, in real time or in a daily digest. Set your notification preferences in your EMyth Connect Account under Personal Settings. 

How do I make changes to my Coaching Program?

You and your Coach should talk about changes you're considering in your Coaching Program. Your Coach can help you make informed decisions about changing who participates in your meetings, adding meetings or anything else that can help you get the most out of your Coaching Program. 

How do I update my account information?

The EMyth Support Team can help you update your payment or contact information, change your fee date or answer any questions you have about your Coaching Program account. You can reach our Support Team by emailing support@emyth.com or call us at (541) 552-4600 and we’ll get back to you within two business hours. Our regular business hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm PST/PDT. 

If you want to update your payment method, email us and request a secure payment link. Never put your credit card information into an email. 

Can I work with a different coach?

Yes. Although we’re confident in our  Coach-Client Matching Process, we understand that coaching is an experience about chemistry between a coach and a client. We want you to have an exceptional experience in your relationship with your Coach. If, after meeting or working with your Coach, you don’t feel it’s a good fit, please send an email to Jayne Speich at jspeich@emyth.com. She'll schedule a time to talk with you about your experience with your Coach and find the right fit for you.
